Tip of the week: If you are driving home for Thanksgiving, be prepared for the trip. Before you leave, have your car checked by a mechanic. Pay special attention to your tires, making sure they have sufficient tread on them. Also, you should have a cell phone, food, water and additional clothing, blankets, or coats to keep you warm if you break down. Let someone know when you are leaving and when you are expected to arrive, as well as the route you are taking. While driving, make frequent stops, and switch off driving. Do not drive when sleepy! Enjoy the holidays and return safely.
