Auto Burglary
Jan. 28: A student discovered his snowboard, valued at $300, had been stolen from his car in a lot north of the Jesse Knight Building. The victim is unsure if the back of the truck was locked, and there were no signs of forced entry.
Theft
Feb. 2: Laundry was stolen from a laundromat at Wymount Terrace. The clothes are valued at $300.
Jan. 27: A female student reported her ID card stolen from the first floor of the library. All of the money on the card, totaling $35, was used on purchases in the HBLL, the JKB and the Snell Building.
Disorderly Conduct
Feb. 2: A male student set off a stairwell alarm in the HBLL after entering the off-limits area to talk on his cell phone. When a security guard asked the student to leave the area, the student was aggressive and repeatedly used foul language. Police were called, and the student was banned from the library for 72 hours. The case is currently under investigation with charges pending.
Suspicious Activity
Feb. 2: A suspicious man was reported entering the new OIT building on the west side of campus. Police responded and discovered the man was a subcontractor working on the heating system.
Feb. 2: A large male in a red hoodie entered the north side of the Wilkinson Student Center mumbling to himself and appeared to be intoxicated. Police searched the WSC but were unable to locate the man.
Feb. 1: Police received multiple complaints about a student dressed in an ape costume who was harassing students in the library atrium. The suspect received a warning and was told to leave.
Jan. 31: Police received a report of an unattended briefcase by the south doors of the Harris Fine Arts Center. The briefcase was not there when police arrived.
Alcohol
Jan. 31: Two intoxicated men were using foul language while waiting at the bus stop east of the Wilkinson Center. The men were not allowed on public transportation due to their drunken state and called a friend to come pick them up. Both men have a criminal history and are not affiliated with BYU.
Assault
Jan. 27: A witness reported seeing two males yelling and shoving each other in the parking lot north of the JKB. The incident involved the driver of a car who had driven over the foot of a man on a motorcycle. The men were gone when police arrived.

When using public laundry facilities, stay with your laundry. Don't leave and assume it will be there when you get back.
